Bicycling has grown significantly in the past ten years. In some regions, implementation of large-scale bike-sharing systems and improved cycling infrastructure are two factors enabling this growth. An increase non-motorized modes transportation makes our cities more human, decreases pollution, traffic, improves quality life. many around world, urban planners policymakers looking at as a sustainable way improving mobility. Although generate abundant data about their users’ travel habits, most still rely on traditional tools methods for planning policy-making. Recent technological advances enable collection analysis large amounts mobility, which can serve solid basis evidence-based paper, we introduce novel analytical method that be used to process millions trips analyze abstracting relevant mobility flows across specific areas. Backed by visualization platform, provides comprehensive set support public authorities making data-driven policy decisions. This paper illustrates use with case study Greater Boston system and, result, presents new findings particular system. Finally, an assessment expert users showed tool were considered very useful, relatively easy they intend adopt near future.
